I received some questions about why a C-Level Sales Guy would want/need to take a seven-week dive into Data Analytics, AI and Machine Learning. My answer: It is my belief that all software will be based on these fundamental technologies, and soon. It won’t make sense to say that you are talking to the C-Level in an organization about technology without having a deep understanding of these principles.
One tiny data point -- Google isn’t a search engine company anymore, according to Google…
“From computer vision to healthcare research to AutoML, we have increasingly put emphasis on implementing machine learning techniques in nearly everything we do at Google,” writes Google’s Christian Howard in a post. “Our research has been core to the development and integration of these systems into Google products and platforms. To better reflect this commitment, we’re unifying our efforts under “Google AI”, which encompasses all the state-of-the-art research happening across Google.”
